GMAC is the acronym for 'Graduate Management Admission Council', the entity which promotes GMT, the 'Graduate Management Admission Test', as an adequate tool for the administration of entrance examinations in hundreds of business universities worldwide.

PalmSecure is a safety biometric system based on the identification of unique parameters for every person in the palm, or, more precisely, in the veins.

Its key is the unique identity of each person.

The French National Commission for Data Protection and the Liberties (CNIL), whose slogan is 'The computer science must respect human identity, human rights, private life, and freedom' has approved the use of the abovementioned system by GMAC in order to collect the biometric data of those people who participate in the exams, in order to assure their identity beyond any doubt.

It is pointed out that said approval rises from having verified the system’s reliability, and its being a procedure that is non-invasive to the persons’ fundamental rights, and which has developed as an alternative way to fingerprints’ compilation.
